Good Company

Pros

Acadian is really flexible with scheduling and they have a good employee stock ownership based retirement.

Cons

The quality of EMT’s and paramedics is subpar and quality improvement is overstretched to the point where transfer calls take priority over 911 calls.

Pros

ESOP and 401K, PTO, benefits

Cons

Getting off really late for BS, coverage in 911 area getting blown all the time, management not taking complaints seriously (they think you’re whining), being guild tripped if you have to call in sick, prescription plan sucks
