Pros

The company provides clear expectations, strong training, and great support from leadership. The pace is fast, which is expected in a competitive market like NYC, but you’re not left to figure things out on your own. Management is responsive and open to feedback, and there’s a strong emphasis on personal and professional growth. The incentive structure rewards those who win.

Cons

The role can be demanding, especially in a city like Manhattan where building access and property relationships take persistence and strategic communication. It’s a job that requires hustle and resilience. If you’re not comfortable with a performance-driven environment or prefer a desk job, this ain't it. Success depends heavily on how proactive you are day to day.

Hi - Thanks for your review! I loved your statement: "If you’re not comfortable with a performance-driven environment or prefer a desk job, this ain't it. Success depends heavily on how proactive you are day to day." This is the biggest issue we face as a leadership team because most folks are used to a job where they have direct supervision and accountability (in-person). The Territory Manager position requires someone that is self-motivating, and an independent operator; but is also ok with being held accountable to activity reports, referral generation, and ultimately sales results.

Hi, Thanks for your review. I agree we have great employees that are fun but most of our positions are autonomous so there isn't much face-to-face interaction with peers outside of team meetings and VTO days . No one is required to work 10 hours a day and Accelion gets great scores on work/life balance on our various employee engagement surveys. Pay and events requirements are disclosed prior to starting the position in the offer letter. Be well!

Typical Devilcorp

Pros

Weekly paycheck, short work days.

Cons

This is your typical Devil corp. They will write you up quickly so that when they let you go than can fight employment. Very low salary and commission for Verizon sales is lowest in industry. You are better off working for verizon corporate. Favoritism and nepotism seems to shine at the company. Turnover is very high as well.

I didn't even know what a Devilcorp was so I had to look it up; we are not a multi-level marketing company nor are we selling door-to-door like most of those firms. Of course the commissions we pay are lower than the Devilcorps because they are commission only cold-lead sales jobs . We pay a base salary/benefits/PTO/Sick/VTO/401k/ect and our sales primarily come from referral generation at apartment complexes; our employees never sell door-to-door. Be well!
