Pros

The pros of working here are that you can choose your schedule based on your life or your patient’s.

Cons

Must be able to understand medical terminology even if you’re not an HHA, or anyone with experience in the field. Try to learn about your patient as much as possible.

Pros

Was fortunate to work with some outstanding co-workers.

Cons

Unfortunately, having great co-workers negatively affected by high turnover. Since the company's salary adjustments are non-existent (no cost of living - nothing), good employees simply can't afford to stay or are discouraged right out of the company. They have a permanent "salary freeze" while acquiring other home care businesses and expanding nationally. Performance reviews happen annually (which is good), they are however accompanied by the 'salary freeze' speech (NOT good). No matter how outstanding your review might be. In 6 years with the company, 1 year did not have 'freeze' and miniscule performance based raises were allowed. Company benefits (medical/dental/vision) are good but, you pay alot for them. As a single person with no dependents, my monthly contribution was nearly $300 monthly when I left at end of 2018. You can contribute to a 401k but don't expect any contribution from the company.
