Thank you for your review! We recognize the challenge of inconsistent work for full-time transition and the unique position of being the sole COTA. The UCSD-linked location can be inconvenient, and weekly in-person meetings require commitment. We are reviewing compensation processes for timely raises. We value feedback on increasing patient numbers and will consider options, including our UCSD partnership. We aim to improve the authorization process to support full-time status and benefits for clinicians, enhancing service for patients and staff.

AccentCare with UCSD

Pros

Great pay, and currently great staff. Have felt supported for the majority of the time I've been there with a few exceptions that were resolved eventually.

Cons

Not enough consistent work to go full time in 6 years. And I've been the only COTA at this location. Office is not centrally located because of tie with UCSD. Weekly in-person meetings. Took over 5 years to get a per visit raise. Had to beg for an hourly raise after almost 4 years that is hardly ever needed and maybe gave me a total of an extra $15-$20 a month.

Thank you for your feedback. We are committed to offering competitive pay and truly value our dedicated staff. We understand the challenges of transitioning to full-time work and the unique experience of being the sole COTA. While the UCSD-linked location and weekly in-person meetings can be demanding, we are actively reviewing our processes to ensure timely raises and improve the authorization process. We appreciate your input on increasing patient numbers and are exploring options, including leveraging our UCSD partnership. Our goal is to enhance the experience for both our patients and staff, and your insights are invaluable in this effort.
