      Works well with schedule very fun to be around (even the managers) Great fun setting up for holidays and events

      Starts at min wage for cashiers Employee evaluations every year with a raise $.30 or less Managers tend to pick favorites

      Pros

      Friendly environment, Good pay. You get .25 cents for every person you sign up for an ace reward card and $50 dollars a month if you sign up the most people.

      Cons

      You have to stand for long periods of time, It's retail, you have to deal with mean people

      Work was always fun with a good group of co-workers. You have the opportunity to connect with the community and learn about hardware and common trades.

      Cons

      Pay is minimum wage, which isn't unexpected for the industry, but the domain-specific knowledge that some excellent employees possess makes them worth much more than that.
