Pros

AF has competitive salaries and is an amazingly well-resourced school network. It's nice to work at a company where it's easy to pay for all the supplies/materials you could want.

Cons

AF has shied away from using language like no excuses in recent years, but the philosophy of the network is still a very controlling and punitive one for children. I would never send my own child to one of our schools.

Pros

Well funded school; had needed teaching supplies

Cons

No teacher union / at-will employee. Overly focused on discipline and controlling students rather than creating an engaging content.
