Pros

Some of the coworkers, good medical and short term disability, administrative support with regards to working with families

Cons

Insane workload, toxic positivity, unfair student discipline practices, pay does not match number of hours worked, no pension or union benefits like DOE teachers

Good People, Okay Schools

Pros

-12 weeks paid maternity leave -Health insurance -6 weeks off for summer

Cons

-Very long hours with early start time (before 7:30 am) -Our schools haven't made much improvement over the decade I have worked here -School micromanage teacher (for example, we have to clock in and if you are 1 minute passed the clock in time you are late no exceptions)
