Pros

Mostly good kind people to work with...

Cons

-Special Education is not occurring in these schools... They consider SPED teachers as lesser and incapable teachers -Contract is meaningless since they may force you to teach in a different content area if there is a great "need" -Toxic work incentives/public shaming of teachers and struggling classrooms -Broken promises of "Coaching" -Absurd hours for a teacher 7:30 am - 5 pm usual -All planning periods taken up by lengthy serious meetings

Pros

Teachers and leaders who have been around for years are strong assets to the team.

Cons

Inexperienced senior leadership being promoted to rolls that they are not read for. Lots of favoritism.
