Be The Change

Pros

This past years experience has been the best, even despite the global pandemic. The leadership at my particular school is thoughtful, and considerate and driven. The network has also been working overtime to reform and dismantle any antiquated practices that do not serve students and their families.

Cons

It is a lot of work to be a teacher but especially to be the teacher at a charter school. The work feels endless. The class sizes are also large.

Pros

mission, impact, flexibility at the network level

Cons

culture is a work in progress- staff and student and family dissatisfaction bubbling for years, in response to some policies and practices- org is working to change
