- great being able to work with young black professionals - some perks during teacher appreciation week, other catered lunches during meeting times - rewarding at times, pay is good for the area

Cons

- remarkable level of burnout, even for the most prepared teachers - lack of care when it comes to those with health issues - head scratching policy issues - lack of privacy, safety issues/theft - lack of support for certain subject teachers, - lack of accountability for students, parents - zero work-life balance
