      Pros

      High pay for early career teachers.

      Cons

      Absolutely no work-life balance. The administration is oppressive to both teachers and kids. Any feedback you give can and will likely be used against you. This is the type of place you want to do what you are told and withhold any creativity. Abiding by the rules and playing along with the toxic positivity culture is the only way to survive.

      Pros

      + Hard work, but gets easier with each year + Higher compensation relative to other schools + Other opportunities to make extra income; I made close to $100k this year from stipends + Paid summers off + Surrounded by motivated and passionate educators

      + Principal is out of touch and checked out, but deans do an incredible job + Students can be hard to manage, but they make the work fun!
