Pros

-The kids, parents, and most teachers are great

Cons

-They run through staff and hire inexperienced teachers -They recently laid off teachers who helped found schools and had reach the level of Master Teacher, because they became too expensive - people who gave a decade of their lives and made teaching their career were literally let go without a second thought -They pretend to "care about the whole person" but will let you go to cover their butts -They have told their staff that raises are coming and yet continue go back on their words year and year -They laugh when staff ask about cost of living adjustments -They value hiring new teachers over treating their staff who worked with them through the pandemic - they give new staff members "signing bonuses" and ignore staff members who have worked there for years -Their HR department is run by incompetent people - currently the person running employee investigations is someone you can easily google and see they were fired from their old job for lying about employee investigations. Their main HR person recently left the company - and you know when HR is jumping ship it is time to go. -Their main Diversity Person also just jumped ship -Some schools still don't have principals - and havent had them for over a year (Google Achievement First Teacher Protest 2021]. -They fired all the teachers who tried to unionize asking for safer working conditions -Speaking of which, they gave their entire leadership an anti-union workshop, and the interim-CEO had the audacity to say she came form a union family -Their enrollment keeps declining because parent are tired of their BS - and you job will NOT be secured if your school closes. -The operations team gets treated like trash despite making the school run. AGAIN DO NOT WORK HERE!
