Pros

They provide almost all classroom materials and everything you need

Cons

I still have PTSD from working for AF. Absolute no work life balance. People who have hardly any college experience in education and teaching can somehow climb their way to the leadership team and some how end up evaluating teachers. Absolute NO autonomy whatsoever. You have basically a script you have to follow and must use their style of teaching. They have a reputation of overworking their teachers through guilt and saying it's "for the kids". Not to mention, no union. You are not protected and will be overworked without being compensated for it. Please skip one and try to get into public school.

Pros

Opportunity to collaborate with amazing families and students in Hartford.

Cons

You will be micro managed and asked to do things that are not based on current data or student need. You will be taken advantage of and over worked. You will not be supported.
