Pros

I have worked for Acosta for almost 10 years, starting in an entry level position supporting our retail team and working my way up to several different leadership roles. Throughout my progression I have worked for some great leaders that really cared about my growth and success. I owe a lot of my continued career growth to them! Acosta has allowed me to gather many different types of experiences throughout the company, keeping me engaged and challenged.

Cons

Depending on the team and type of work you are doing, it can be hard to feel connected to the rest of your team. Often times you may find yourself reporting into a team that has members scattered across the nation. If you need more structure and guidance in your work, this is something you should consider.

Pros

Through my tenure with Acosta I can say that the company is people-focused. Employees feel valued and appreciated this is shown in many ways such as team building exercises, interpersonal communication trainings and through recognition. Acosta creates a work environment that is supportive and inclusive. Working for Acosta opens many opportunities for growth within the company. I myself have benefited through their growth-mindset. As a Director I have had the opportunity to develop team members and help them grow their careers to move up within the organization. Acosta provides many resources for their associates to learn and develop to reach their career goals.

Cons

Acosta provides their employees with access to many trainings and programs to help them develop their skill set. At times this can feel overwhelming. However feeling overwhelmed is natural and Acosta gives their employees plenty of time to participate and complete the trainings that are essential to succeed.

Pros

GREAT benefits like pto, Healthcare, and holidays. Just as good in flexible scheduling.

Cons

If you have a client that wants you to work 6-day weeks, there's no challenge. I'm in a right-to-work state, so that can be taken advantage of. Also, if your client doesn't like you, there can be some challenges.
