Pros

I transitioned into the company when they purchased my division at Mosaic. I had been with mosaic for over 4 yrs. I work full time and I enjoy working with my store managers.

Cons

Extremely large territory. Extreme wear and tear on car. No raise in 6 yrs. Mileage reimbursement is a joke. New plan pays 14.95 cents a mile. High turn over, if you take time off you still have to get all your work in your territory done and keep it all under 40 hrs. Overtime is not permitted. My territory spans from Oregon to Washington. Essentially, they ask you to cram two weeks of work into one week if you take a week off for vacation. Benefits are a joke. Medical premiums are 200 mos for employee and child. Deductible is $9000 a year before anything is covered. I can't afford it when it would consume more than half of my yearly income. Upper management ride you if you are working long hours, my territory is so large and drivetimes are fixed. If I cut store time, I get yelled at. Unreasonable expectations, they have taken my vacation time if I fall under 40 hrs without my approval, they question and micromanage everything. No work life balance, they do not want to pay for admin time..you are replaceable and they don't care. Expect no raises ever or appreciation for your work.

Pros

The work schedule is flexible, I have the ability to be creative and make a small difference to my customers and clients. I enjoy the daily change in surroundings. The job is not complicated however you can create personal challenges.

Cons

The job training is very fast and your are then thrown into the field to "wing it" The tools given to do the job are outdated (new and improved are right around the corner) Mileage reimbursement is not that great. This job can be very frustrating in the beginning. Working in the field without the material needed to preform the task is challenging. Once information and material are received the job duties start to make sense.
