Pros
They are always hiring. Turnover is high here so being terminated due to lack of work unlikely. The employees are like family but the family atmosphere has severely diminished/disappeared since new management took over.
Cons
- Easily the pay, nearly every employee at Acousti is well below market average. This has been thr case for quite some time and management repeatedly states they will address it and never does. - Under the new managerial staff, loyalty has disappeared. Previously an employee's time at the company mattered but as of late it is obvious the bottom line is all that matters as more and more of the veteran staff are being fired for reasons that have the rest of us on edge. After speaking to a lot of my co workers, since the new managers/owners have taken over nobody feels safe. Everyone feels they must walk on egg shells while at work and the stress has started to hurt some of our staff. - Nearly everyone at Acousti has been in the same position since they started. During interviews promotions are referenced quite a lot but speak to anyone who actually works here, growth is extremely unlikely. - Women and people of color are extremely under represented. Looking at the managers, no women or people of color in the over 20+ branches are branch managers and in the companies 70 year history this had been the same with only one women ever being a manager.
