Dear Sir/Ma'am,
Thank you for the kind words regarding our staff and office environment. Acquire does aim for its employees to enjoy our office environment as well as who they work with.
In regards to your "Advice to Management" portion, there are a few points we would like to clarify. As you stated, you were given 3 weeks to meet the standards set by our clients. Our clients expect immediate results but we have the luxury of ongoing training and working with individuals, unfortunately after 3 weeks if one is not meeting the clienteles needs it is in everyone's best interest that this is not a good fit for all involved. This is very standard in our industry. If you felt as if you did not receive adequate training, there was ample time for you to speak with one of our managers regarding your training. As you mentioned above, we do have quite a few managers in our office, to ensure employees have ample support in their development.
We genuinely regret to hear that you did not understand Acquire's geographic expansion plans as well as the projection to expand the client portfolio. In the most recent 4 weeks, Acquire has publicly promoted 6 employees within the organization in various positions. Acquire has clear standards set in place in order to receive a promotion within the company, these are outlined throughout the interview process and during staff meetings. For individuals that do not understand the standards, we encourage them to meet with the management team to clear the air. Employees that regularly attend our meetings witnessed said promotions as well as how each promotion was achieved. We can speak to the fact that we hold meetings for specific reasons, the meetings or "pow-wow's" that you reference are intended to help those that are showing sub-par performance in their work. We take pride in having our CEO speak with every employee of the company on a daily basis which in itself is unique in most workplaces. We apologize that you feel differently about this and preferred more indirect coaching.
Whether a company is a private small business or a large corporate powerhouse, employees are judged on performance. Acquire does pride ourselves on being competitive in the marketplace and constantly striving for high performance. We feel that separates us from the competitors in the marketplace, hints the high-end clientele listed. Although Acquire does have standards, we can ensure you that we do not terminate employees solely based upon performance reasons. If we were to allow our company to settle for less than mediocrity we would not have the growth that we have had the past 3 quarters nor would our clientele continue to do business with us, as with any outsourced company, our clients (such as Apple, Samsung, Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, Vivint, and Square Trade) require our company to have a standard of performance. That, unfortunately, is not always up to us what their standard of performance is, but we are held accountable to enforce these standards. You mentioned we should explain how in the interview process of three interviews the duties of the role that one is being interviewed for. We feel strongly about our interview process and stand by the fact it would be impossible to conduct three separate interviews and not discuss what we do on a day to day basis. With that being said in reference to you claiming what we do, there is much more than selling DIRECTV in a retail store to our business.
Best Regards,
Acquire HR Dept
