Pros

The culture of this team is more exciting and competitive than anywhere I have ever worked. As an athlete, I have been challenged my entire life and leaving college I missed that team drive. That was until I started working at Acquire. The team here is always playing fasting which has motivated me to take the next step, and that is something I need. If you're looking for a team to help you get to the next level in your career, you found it.

Cons

I have spent my entire career working in the corporate world and shifting to the culture here took some time. Aquire is both fast-paced and positive, and for those who can't adapt, it is easy to be left behind. After starting with the firm, I quickly settled in and became complacent. As a result, I was passed by a colleague who was here for half the time I was and that stung. However, once I got past the fact that seniority wasn't limiting me, the only direction has been up.

Pros

-Energetic environment and company culture -Positive attitudes everywhere -Fun culture (ex: Team night every Thurs) -Good boss and CEO

Cons

DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE MISLEADING TITLES AND BUZZ WORDS - This job is no "Account Manager" or "Marketing Manager" or any play off of this, it is a client representative and a direct sales position. You will be selling phones directly to customers in a retail store. -Seemed to try to get you to focus on the "opportunity" in the back end to not let you overthink and focus on the actual sales-dog type job you're working in -Don't be fooled by any buzz words in the online application process, the job in direct face to face sales in the field -Feels as if you are working like a dog - employees worked nearly every single day, which started to feel like there was no break and a continual work environment that eventually caught up into an exhaustion mentality ESPECIALLY with the inconsistency in scheduling and sporadic changes that happened nearly every day -Pay seems fair-ish ("salary" + commission) but the goals felt a little unrealistic if there was no special weekend or promotional aspect going on for the week (not to say that there aren't people who absolutely kill the sales game and are really good at sales) -Employee "benefits" did not seem to even be comparable to numerous other companies full benefit packages In all, not a good job if you need more stability, security, and consistency in a job.

Dear Sir/Ma'am, Thank you for your feedback on our company. Here at Acquire we value all opinions and want to address your thoughts one-by-one. As you know our culture at Acquire is very fast paced and positive environment. We are glad you enjoy that part of our company. We also have a large emphasis on a teamwork culture with a family-esque feel. I know our management team is glad that you approved of them as well. They do work hard to lead by their own example. As it pertains to your further remarks, we run an extremely thorough interview process over the course of several days that outlines the roles and responsibilities of positions within our company. We also feel that it is important to maintain a big picture vantage point to any client service campaign. We do apologize if this was not made more clear to you while you were employed with Acquire. It’s never the intent of our company to misinform anyone on the practices and operations of our company. To address your comments on the cycle of work, we release schedules of pre-planned work hours prior to said week. Every employee is given an opportunity to provide feedback to their schedule, at that time management tailors an employee’s schedule to the needs of members of staff and how it fulfills the needs of the business itself. Clients also have a say in said work hours that Acquire must curtail its operations to. If this miscommunicated in any way, we wish it had been addressed with management during your employment. Our base-backed and uncapped earning potential is competitive with most all marketing and sales environments. We set our goals and expectations for our staff based on the performance of our team. We also feel that a goal-driven model allows for employees to be rewarded for their achievements, and that reinforces the intrinsic value of our growth philosophy. We know some do earn more than others, but that is in large part due to that individual’s personal efforts. Although Acquire’s structure of upward advancement is based on performance, its benefits are based on time with the company. Like most companies, Acquire rewards its employees with PTO, cell phone stipend, healthcare options, paid travel, leadership seminars and client-sponsored vacation weeks. All of which can be received through time worked or write exceptional performance reviews. In addition, we also employee multiple CPA’s in which can assist with the filing of one’s taxes and establishing retirement options. These perks are covered in a hiring interview before the beginning of one’s employment. We want to again thank you for your advice and insight into Acquire. Our management team appreciates your kind words about them, but they will use these things to improve the quality and accuracy of the company’s day-to-day operations. Respectfully, Acquire HR Team
