      RUN! Decent benefits, but workload leads to burnout

      Pros

      PTO is "Unlimited", and benefits are decent. However, if your manager does not value time off they do not have to approve it. My experience has been such that my manager would make me feel bad if I even asked for time off so I typically didnt.

      Cons

      Workload/burn out- many people were let go since I started and instead of filling their position, the workload was instead spread amongst the skeleton crew that remained.

      Company accounting is such a disaster that employees are not even getting paid

      Pros

      We have unlimited paid time off.

      Cons

      For the past year and half I have not been properly paid commission and have had no merit-based raise on my salary for almost three years. This company is committing a crime by failing to uphold their end of the employment agreement I signed onto when accepting this position and I am currently seeking legal advice on the matter.

      Friendly teammates, but discriminatory healthcare coverage

      Pros

      Remote position. My direct teammates are pretty friendly.

      Cons

      Healthcare coverage is blatantly discriminatory against trans people. They frame it as a “narrow exclusion” but it functions as a de-facto denial of coverage for all transgender specific healthcare needs even when cis folks are granted coverage for the same things (therapy, HRT, surgery, etc)
