Executives and Operations are extremely disconnected from reality. They decide to implement things and everyone has to try to make it happen without any timelines, outlines, or guidance other than a basic ideas. Constantly expecting us to build an airplane mid-flight. Outside of standard software user procedures, there are no guides for how to find information ourselves or where to look for information. They decided to outsource to a company in India that allegedly will build AI to do the work in order to save money but the outsourced company will only be able to automate a fraction of the work. Most of what we do requires higher level critical thinking and analytical skills that neither AI nor outsourced labor can fully duplicate.

Lots of shifting priorities within various lines of business can make getting our job done hard. With time that will subside just as with any business, but it's worth a callout here.
