Decent, but all-around could be better
Pros
The work itself isn't difficult, though that scales greatly depending on assigned agencies. Benefits are on the higher end of good (as expected for an insurance broker).
Cons
Management seems totally out of touch with what workers need/want, and it gets worse going up the chain. Mandatory hybrid in-office schedule, flexibility with this is entirely determined by supervisor. The company policy is 5 days in-office, 5 days work from home even though productivity was stellar company-wide during 100% WFH time. Not enough space in the office or parking deck for all employees, even with hybrid schedule. Raises/promotions are a popularity contest. Too much pressure on regional managers/controllers/supervisors. It stresses them out and forces them to squeeze productivity from workers. Staffing feels like a meat-grinder. The company is constantly hiring, either to shore up teams that experience constant expansion or replace burned-out/fed-up employees who quit.
