Pros

One of the positive aspects of working at this company is the flexibility they offer, which can be very helpful for maintaining a good work-life balance. The pay is consistent and reliable, which is important when planning finances and feeling secure in your role. Another great benefit is that the training provided is free, giving employees the opportunity to learn and grow without additional costs. The BCBAs are also very communicative, supportive, and understanding. They are willing to guide staff and provide feedback in a positive and constructive way. Overall, the company offers good support, learning opportunities, and flexibility for those interested in working in this field.

Cons

Working as an RBT can be challenging, which is understandable since we work with children who require patience, empathy, and compassion every day. The work itself is meaningful and important. However, what can make the job more difficult at times is the work environment among staff. Some RBTs make side comments or speak in a derogatory way in front of others, which can feel discouraging—especially for newer RBTs who are still learning and adjusting. Respect and support among team members is essential in a field like this, and new staff should feel welcomed rather than judged. A more supportive and respectful team culture would make a significant difference, not only for employees but ultimately for the children we are there to support.
