This company dramatically changed when they had new share holders and a CEO (from Ryan to Hersh) Prior to the changes and COVID, employees received breaks and were salary and not overworked. Since then BCBA's caseloads and teams have jumped from 6 clients to 8 patients. 8 patients with a team of only 9 RBT's. The RBT's are severely overworked and receive no breaks, and if they do it is a 30 min break. This "break" is done during transitions from client to client with RBT's so you never really get a solid 30 min break. The schedule is done in "rotation" which makes no sense cause the breaks are not equally distributed. Some people have 1-1.5 hour breaks and some have 0. With a heavier case load, BCBA's have difficulties treating and programing for the kiddos- and since there are no more breaks/floats stimuli and the up keep of our center is not being made or kept. HQ has a margarita machine and beer on tap Xbox and many other accessories for those who are not in the center and do not actually implement the therapy they promote, however clinics in Austin, Round Rock and Cedar park have to wait for budget approvals to ask for new toys, repairs in playground and basic sanitary needs. During the snow storm leadership (HQ) informed us that if we wanted to be gracious towards our coworkers we can offer our own PTO to them vs them giving us days for the 4-5 days we missed (They gave us 1). They sometimes cut your hours due to kids not showing up and tell you that you have a guaranteed 36 hours. This is true however it comes in random times. They have total control over your schedule and 90% of the time you will be booked with a kid from 8-4 and your "break" will be 4 pm-4:30pm or 8 am-8:30 am
