I’ve been with this company for almost a year. The management is awful. Favoritism all over the place. The pay is not up to your experience whatsoever. The BCBAs don’t care about the help you may need with a patient or the questions you have. They treat you like garbage if you don’t get the treatment plans right away. The BCBAs are on a power high. They get more patients than there are therapist so your “floats” get taken away and you’re working with a child non stop for 8 hours without a lunch or break. The managers scold you because you want to use your PTO for appointments when you work 8-5 and there’s no time during the week bc you’re working. They favorite the ones who want to become BCBAs and no one else. RBTs are constantly looking for new jobs because of the pay rate. They criticize you because you ask for help or questions. All this company cares about is money. It’s an awful place to work. The turn over rate is HIGH. No one wants to work at this company for long. Do yourself a favor and NOT APPLY!!!! Not worth your time.

Best company for a BCBA hands down!

The culture at ABC is remarkable. I transferred from the South Austin location to the Memorial Houston location. The culture from location to location is amazing. My favorite pro is being able to build a team of therapists who love their job, the children & their progress, emphasis on parent training, PTO, and the benefits!

Cons

I would love more flexible hours, but if you ask to come late/leave early the office admin is flexible with that.

Low morale, low pay, not many opportunities for growth, RBTs are clearly at the bottom of the totem pole, strange enrollment process and children are overworked 40 hours a week

There are many clinical and administrative avenues that RBTs can move into depending on their goals and interests. We also work hard to promote a great work environment by providing free lunch Fridays, happy hours, and annual events to bring our teams together! As for our kiddos’ therapy plans, each child has a program specifically designed by his/her BCBA to meet the child’s individual needs and get scientifically proven results. It is our top priority to provide the highest quality ABA therapy for our children.
