Pros
I've been working at ABC for about a year and have been so amazed by the heart and work ethic of the people I get to call my coworkers! Everyone truly loves and cares about our kiddos and the field of ABA. We hire the most passionate and motivated individuals! I was an RBT for 3 years at a different ABA provider and know from experience how tough this job can be. Action Behavior Centers provides PTO, salary, benefits, 401k, happy hours, free lunch Fridays, fun outside of work activities, ongoing education, and the list goes ON!! We truly have the best of the best and the model is beyond anything I've ever seen in our industry (been in this ABA world since 2013). We have a "block" schedule for RBTs so they don't get burnt out and rotate daily with a 2 hour block (not always guaranteed but it's pretty likely that unless someone on your team is out sick, you'll get a 2 hour min. break without a client.) You're on a team that feels like family and each BCBA has a max of 6-8 kids, so it's such a personal and hands-on approach which makes a HUGE difference compared to other places I've worked. Beyond all of this, there is constant support from your management (Office Managers, VPs and C-suite are constantly out and about in the centers and easily approachable.) We are all here trying to better the lives of children and families with autism and it's so rewarding and exciting when you see our kiddos meet their goals and parents' and children's lives are changed forever. I've now been on both the clinical side and admin side of things love both! I've worked my way up in the Marketing department and truly enjoy sharing what our company does and how we are different than all the rest. We work hard to keep our staff happy and our clients growing and learning, no matter what it takes. ABC still has a very start-up vibe and culture which is fun and full of growth.
Cons
It is a young and growing company, so there is constant growth and change. Processes and procedures are ever-evolving!
