      A BCBA's Dream Job

      Pros

      Action Behavior Centers attention to patients and employees needs are unique to the field of ABA. Unlike most centers Action keeps caseloads small prioritizing the patients and therapists along with keeping a positive culture a top priority. Our patients and therapists are our main priorities as BCBAs thanks to our insurance, recruiting and administration teams. Our attention to hiring, training and constant growth leave us with minimal turnover. Some therapists and BCBAs have been together for almost two years! (that is unheard of!) One of my favorite compliments we often receive at my center from interviewees, new employees and parents is that "everyone is so happy". Nothing is more rewarding than happy and successful patients, families and therapists. Happy and rewarded therapists and BCBAs = quality and successful ABA therapy.

      Cons

      Downsides are very few and far between here at Action but any concerns have been addressed.

      The best job I’ve ever had!!

      Pros

      I love the entire atmosphere of the job! I’ve been at the Memorial location since it opened and all the people we’ve added along the way have been wonderful. I started out as a BT with minimal experience in ABA and they really took the time to encourage me and foster my growth. They ensured I was trained properly before setting me loose and my BCBA was there to answer any questions and improve my technique. Working at ABC has shown me my passion in life and I’m currently working towards a Master’s degree to advance in the field, which they have encouraged the whole way! The BCBA’s have small case loads so the therapy is very individualized. They’re always available to help with anything when needed. We have wonderful benefits and the company does so much extra for us like free lunches on Fridays and group events once a month!

      Cons

      I’ve sat here for five minutes and really can’t think of anything negative. I love every aspect of my job and the people here!

      9/10, the best (clinic-based) ABA facility I've come across!

      Pros

      There are a lot of pros for ABC: - employees are salaried which is unusual for this field - days are broken up into 4, 2-hour blocks, and most days we get one block off, which serves as a nice breather during the day - great benefits package - AMAZING coworkers who are (for the most part) very dedicated to their jobs - BCBAs have very small caseloads, so they are very client-focused - ABC is great about supporting employees - if you're planning to go back to school it's great!

      Cons

      - high turnover - though to be fair, the turnover rate is lower than average for the field
