Pros
Fun coworkers, nice campus, flexible scheduling.
Cons
Management will not let you stay in your “primary” classroom. You will be forced to sub in random classes of different age groups and staff will not show any gratitude for this. They will not say please or thank you when having you do this. Always subbing in and not knowing any of the children’s names can be tiring. They will give you no notice of this either. Staff has said they would organize meetings to help resolve employee conflicts but will not follow through. I’ve had staff ignore me when I ask questions. The pay I had was entirely too low. They promised me a raise when I became fully qualified and it took them months to “process” it, yet they gave a newly hired, unqualified teacher higher pay than me. Admin office is sassy. They will send you home early because they love having the ratio have bare minimum teachers, even though it goes against the best interest of the teachers and the kids. You will never have your full 40 hours here.
