      Able to work on different programs and occasionally pick up midweek work is a plus

      There was a 10% pay cut over year ago and there is no possibility of advancement or a raise.

      Pros

      Self scheduling, work at your own pace for the most part, it's good if you're in college and need something for extra money. Unless you're doing a bad job, you don't really need to interact with management.

      Cons

      Drive a ton, you'll smash fingers, get cuts and bruises, bleed and ache, I've gotten one 12% raise a year and a half into the job, and about four months later it was announced that everyone was taking a 20% pay cut 'to be more competitive in the market', leaving me working for less than I started for. Manager turnover is ridiculous, the most I've had a given DM for is about 8 months, one only for 3 or 4 before he went to another position.
