Pros

- Flexible work schedule; - Mostly nice and professional co-workers.

Cons

- Clueless and ignorant management; - Lots of office politics; - Non-existent performance bonuses (average bonus in the company is $600 a year); - Benefits and compensation are on the lower end of the market; - Amount of red tape in the company grows exponentially.

Pros

Developers are exposed to lots of technologies and get to work with the entire stack. In other companies, you never know if the software you write will see the "light of day". Here, you see your software in action and actually get to travel to the corporate conferences and see attendees use the software you write.

Cons

As a larger company, some divisions are doing well and others are performing at a lower level. The business units that are performing well don't seem to see more resources or higher raises.

Pros

Great culture within the Development organization, flexible work environment, reasonably decent benefits, lunch time workouts, young workers, nice facilities. This is a great place to work if money is not all that important to you. Also, contrary to other reviews, there is plenty of opportunity to move around but you have to take the initiative and learn the skills necessary for the job that you want.

Cons

Look at the financial statements, money is tight. The pay is below market and raises are almost non-existent. I was a top performer for 4 years and I averaged around 3.5%/yr. Bonuses for the most part are strictly for top performers and they're usually disappointing. I once went to pickup my bonus from one of the VPs and as he handed me the check he said "you must have done something really special, not many of these going around this year" - It was $1k.
