Pros

Work life balance is good. Good pay. Okay benefits. The people that work here are intelligent and passionate about the work.

Cons

Since being acquired by CVS it’s been going downhill quickly. Management demands more and more, with nothing in return. Favoritism runs rampant. No promotion opportunities. Burn out is on the rise. Technology is lacking compared to competitors. CVS is demanding and management won’t say no to anything, no matter how crazy the ask. It’s the same way with the Aetna business. Direct clients no longer matter, only CVS and Aetna.

Pros

Flexible work environment, big on work-family balance. Great midtown location. Great people to work with.

Cons

The mission and product vision of the company are great, but execution is not up to par. Leadership is NOT driving efficiency and accountability. Too much bureaucracy and red-tape from corporate. Worst health insurance benefits I've ever had.

Pros

People's desire to do good and collaborate based on the needs changing the landscape of healthcare.

Cons

Shifting Priorities Create Chaos Lack of planning and attention to detail impacts quality of deliverables with "lessons learned" exercises producing no net gain Silo communication creates the "you should have known" approach when issues arrive Account management team is very weak in client representation and communication Creativity inhibited by 2 organizations above the subsidiary (Consumer Health Services and Aetna) with different visions creating conflict Consumer Health Services company above ActiveHealth is not a revenue generation organization but uses ActiveHealth's cash for overhead expenses.
