      Pros

      Great advancement potential within the county and in the departments. Can have lots of variety. Supervisors are generally great and positive. Benefits are beyond belief, great schedule and lots of holidays.

      Cons

      Political environments and 'silos' can create conflicts. Process and change can be extremely slow. Lots of red tape sometimes as you would expect in the government.

      Great benefits, plenty of work, good colleagues.

      Cons

      I didn’t really find any. The decision to segregate departments for a single support tech meant some departments got slow service. But usually you could get some assistance.
