Great Benefits-Poor Pay

Pros

As the title suggests, Ada County has a fantastic benefits package for full-time employees.

Cons

In contrast to the excellent benefits, the county's salary structure is, to put it kindly, dated. Boise and the Treasure Valley is fast becoming a very expensive area to live in. Ada County salaries have not kept pace with the increased cost of living.
