Pros

- Manager's who support me fully and understand that everything is not the same in all markets for sales and events. - The vision of our company. Realizing we cannot keep doing the same thing we did 10, 5 or even 2 years ago. We are evolving. - As a new employee, my manager is giving me ample time to access, prioritize and make changes. It can't be done in a couple months. He is always here to support me. - I am grateful that there is a positive attitude from the top down about where our company is headed.

Cons

- If we could get less mandated product pushes annually. Particularly TV Book, Total Market, etc. I would of course have a way to make up for these sales projects with a fresh approach to include multi-media.

Pros

APG's mission is to provide news and information to underserved news deserts. Our employees take this seriously and deliver the message to the community daily in everything that we do.

Cons

Pay and benefits. Pay is well below industry standard, making it hard to recruit and keep the best employees. Same with benefits, 401k needs to be matched and medical needs to have lower deductibles/premiums to attract and keep the best employees.
