      The management for Adams Publishing Group LLC is amazing and easy to work with / for. The communication is top notch and overall feeling of being a family.

      Cons

      All companies should have improvement every day. But as it stands Adams Publishing Group LLC is ahead of things and on a great path in years ahead.

      Pros

      Honesty, integrity, transparency. You know where you stand, you know what is expected of you, you are given tools. The rest is up to you. It's not a perfect world, it's not a perfect job, but it stands up to scriutiny of people who care about media and employees.

      Cons

      Compensation is lacking compared to similar companies. Base pay is lower, commissions and bonuses are less.

      Pros

      Managers give associates room and freedom to succeed and do not micromanage. Adams also offers some flexibility for the editorial associates, and with a larger company, you find a greater pool of talent to consult with when questions arise.

      Cons

      Staffing levels are low, as they are at all newspapers. That makes it difficult for editors to take time off, and we work nearly all holidays. Health benefits also cover the minimum possible.
