Not great, but not bad.

Pros

Small company, friendly atmosphere. Work isn't too hard. Pay and benefits better than many in the manufacturing sector. Not a bad way to get your foot in the door of cGMP manufacturing.

Cons

Small company, no upward movement. Building is old and dated. Pay and benefits on the low end for pharmaceutical cGMP manufacturing operators/technicians. Pay gap between those working on the floor and those up front and upstairs in the offices is substantial. Time off is pretty average for factory work, but below most other pharma in the area.

Adare is continuously evaluating our compensation and benefits plans in order to remain competitive within the industry, and will continue to make adjustments where and when possible in these efforts. Fortunately, we were able to promote 10% of our US workforce within the last year, to provide continued growth and development for well performing individuals where there were opportunities to do so which aligned with organizational objectives.

Pros

Guaranteed overtime Fairly simple work, though physically demanding at times

Cons

Horrible management, company keeps jumping from one investment firm to the next which makes for instability, on site supervisors and managers are worthless for the most part, horrible culture and a miserable place to work honestly. wish I had gotten out sooner.

Thank you for taking the time to provide this feedback. Adare has been Private Equity owned since 2015 and ownership was indeed transferred in 2020 to TH Lee and Frazier Partners. This model is intended to support growth and with that does come change as the company continues to evolve. While we are fortunate to have welcomed many leaders to Adare who are highly regarded in the industry, we are presently working on providing coaching and development to our direct line leadership across the organization, including our Vandalia, Ohio facility.
