loved the product- difficult culture and management
Pros
- Flexible PTO - Great product solving real issues - Competitive benefit package - Good work/life balance - Catered lunch every day
Cons
- Heavily recruits people from Goldman Sachs which created a GS clique (was part of this but still got annoyed with unqualified people getting the job just because of their former employer) - Irresponsible use of finances caused for too many mangers in one org and not enough in another. US headcount kept shrinking as the company tried to replace as many employees as possible with cheaper labor at international offices. - Bonuses are completely discretionary even though they negotiate salaries like the majority of it is guaranteed - HR takes advantage of internal movement to pay lower than market salaries then place you on the same promotion schedule as everyone else on the team- impossible to catch up in pay even if experience is similar (interns beware). - They'll say "money is tight" when negotiating salary then will recklessly use budgets for pointless travel and perks - Clear glass ceiling
