      One of the coolest start ups in Silicon Valley

      Pros

      You get to work with some of the smartest engineers and tackle one of the most ambitious projects around - fixing the finance industry. Also lots of fun start up benefits: free meals, gym stipend, housing stipend, lots of team activities such as go kart racing and robot battling competitions... it's pretty awesome.

      Cons

      The only downside I can think of is that even though we get 3 free meals every day, the lunches are usually not very tasty.

      Pros

      The people are the number one reason to work here. I've never been surrounded by a better group of brilliant, hard-working, passionate, and diverse people as I have at Addepar. This is the basis of the great culture. People genuinely like being here, and we have fun every single day.

      Cons

      Addepar is a startup, so it comes with all the risks associated with that. However some people thrive in a fast-paced environment where you can take complete ownership over what you're working on.

      Pros

      Working with the best of the best, lots of perks, a really rewarding job, minimal but very intelligent management, and a real sense that what we're doing is really going to shake up the financial world.

      Cons

      Long hours, a lot of pressure to be at maximum productivity, a lot of employees who have drunk the kool-aid a bit too much.
