Great place to work

Pros

Nice culture, fun environment. Its essentially sales but as a recruiter you aren't "selling" but you sourcing candidates for clients, moving the recruitment process along, and earning commission (in addition to a base salary) when successfully you place a candidate with a client.

Cons

This career is not for everyone. You have to have fun while doing it and love it otherwise it will suck the life out of you. Good thing for me that I do love it so I continue it and have made tons in commission (and more to come) but I have seen many people come and go, because it just wasn't the right role for them. Managers do their best to give training, guidance, support, help you make realistic plans to improve, so its not like they write you off quickly. The ramp up time is very realistic but yeah its not for everyone.
