Worst Company Ever

Pros

The people you work with are fun but you can't trust them to save your life. They will rat you out just so they can kiss the managers butt for a promotion.

Cons

Worst company I've ever worked for. They literally will rob you starting with your expenses. They say you can expense everything but somehow that will change and they will bite you in the butt and make you pay out of your own pocket. Bonus/referrals FORGET it you will never see a penny of that they just say that so you can be forced to make a 100 dials a day. This place is a straight jail cell. They will sell you on the environment on holiday parties, summer parties, ways to make quick money, drinking whenever you want but trust me when I say you work for it. You will work long nights and even weekends. The boss will downgrade you and will make you feel like you are easily replaceable.

We are sorry to hear about your experience with Addison Group. Our expense policy is straightforward. Per the employee handbook, Addison Group will reimburse employees for reasonable business expenses incurred as part of your daily responsibility. If you wish to submit expenses for reimbursement, you must do so using the company expense software. You are required to submit all expenses within 30 days of the expense date. Expenses submitted after this deadline will be reimbursed at the discretion of your approving manager. Employees are expected to use good judgment when expensing items and if unsure should always confirm with their manager prior. With referral bonuses, your referral must work at Addison Group for a full year before the bonus is paid out. If you are still unsatisfied, please reach out to HR at HR@addisongroup.com with images of your receipts and as much information as possible.

Pros

You will learn a lot of essential life skills such as defending your own decisions, having difficult conversations with people, and managing your own time. If you want to find out a lot about yourself very quickly, this is the place to do it.

Cons

Money doesn’t buy happiness, always remember that. Just because you are hitting your numbers and receiving a commission check DOES NOT mean you will be happy. Going to management with advice or looking for change is a waste of your breath, they will tell you what you want to hear until the cows come home but there is very rarely any legitimate action. This is also a great place if you constantly want to feel deflated. As soon as you think you have caught some wind in your sails, someone in upper management will come through and challenge every decision you have made. Regardless of if you fill jobs or not, they will make sure you understand there is ALWAYS something more that can be done, because, as they will tell you multiple times, recruiters at other companies work 75-80 per week (which is a gross generalization).

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are sorry to hear you did not enjoy your time at Addison Group. Management wants their teams to succeed and encourages their team members to think outside the box and take initiative. We also understand how vital it is to have a work life balance and encourage employees to take time off when needed. Again, we are sorry to hear you were unhappy and wish you the best in your future endeavors.

Pros

Pretty views from the office location, easy to get to via transit.

Cons

Management does not give clear and concise instructions on goals, compensation, and expectations. High volume of employee turn over here. Unprofessional work environment.
