Pros

Experience from working full time internally as a Recruiter on both contract and direct hire roles. - An extensive training program for new Recruiters with many resources. - The valuable opportunity to gain experience in the most challenging type of full life cycle recruiting - staffing services with contractor management.

Cons

Experience from working full time internally as a Recruiter on both contract and direct hire roles. - A poor work life balance. - Minimal benefits. - Low pay in in comparison to similar positions as of 2022. - Minimal vacation/sick time. - Poor understanding for medical issues/emergencies. - A high turnover rate for internal recruiting/business development employees. (Your team won’t stay the same for more than 6 months.) - A stressful, inconsistent environment. - Addison Group works with mostly poor clients, who care little for the candidates you find. - Money is emphasized over all. - Poor diversity amongst internal employees. - Overall would not recommend to a friend.

Pros

Gain insightful experience in a sales environment.

Cons

This is one of the cliquiest companies I have ever been apart of in my life. This position is a revolving door of new hires to terminations. People are consistently being hired and fired. The work culture is horrendous. Have a backup job on hand if you are considering this company.

Pros

-can make some decent money if you have the right manager and structure set up - Met some decent folks - Paid Weekly

Cons

-just about everything -upper management including C level and execs are some of the most clueless individuals I ever came across. They think things are the way they were when they started the company and that you can just hop on the phone these days and people will gladly just give you their business. Then they "show" you how it's done, they call a client up, drop their C level or Executive level title in the convo which obviously makes the prospect way more comfortable. - Expectations are absurd. It's never enough for these people. You can be a top biller in office, but no no no, you didn't make enough phone calls this week! Shut up. I'm making you money - So beyond cut throat. Nobody on the teams are there to actually help you. Everyone is out for themselves. - DRAMA. People are constantly in each others business (personal and professional). - Bro Culture / Heard plenty of racism and biases toward candidates - Extremely unsupportive admin staff - HQ is in Chicago so unless you're in that office, you have no HR, minimal guidance from management, and absolute chaos - Insane amount of office turnover - Aside from going from recruiter to BDM, there is next to no growth opportunity after that. Better pray that a branch manager leaves if you plan on advancing further (which is common)

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. Our #1 goal is to ensure a quality employee experience and we’re disappointed to hear yours was not a positive one. We hold our teams accountable and ensure managers have resources to support their teams. We continue to work in this area through the development of leadership training programs. We also provide resources for employees to voice workplace concerns — including our HR business partners that each office has access to — and we encourage them to do so as soon as an issue arises. As part of our recruiter training program, we review career paths for our new hires to guide them during their tenure at Addison. We also provide unconscious bias training so that each interaction they have is done with diversity, equality, and inclusion in mind. We truly value the feedback we receive including what you’ve provided here. If you would like to share more feedback, please reach out to communications@addisongroup.com.
