Pros

Commission remote teammates snacks booze

Cons

Only hiring young people, if they are white and good looking, does not make your culture cool. They make you attend unconscious biases training, which was amazing, but they don't practice what they preach.

Pros

Met some nice people & great office spaces.

Cons

I was already applying for other jobs during my lunch break barely two weeks into the job. There were so many red flags; some are listed below. - 90% of the office was staffed by fresh college grads. - I saw another review here mentioning poor office diversity, so I wanted to confirm it's true. My entire team was all white women, and I'd say 95% of the rest of the office was also white. My office's only POC (other than 2 recruiters) was the office manager and her administrative team. - My first week, my boss and branch manager both went out of their way to tell me not to work with Nigerian candidates. They said it was because a lot of them send in fraud resumes, but can't anyone of any race also do that? Why not just teach the signs of a potential fraud resume instead of completely discriminating against a whole group of people? And I've seen my boss pull up some of these resumes and say the name on it "was weird." - My team was very unprofessional. My boss cussed like a sailor and my vertical team spent our afternoon meetings gossiping about candidates/clients/former employees. I got all of the lore about two former employees during my first week there. - I watched a recorded Teams call as part of my video training where the trainer advised recruiters to make up jobs to pitch to candidates if there weren't any good roles for them, and then just tell them later the role was already filled. AKA, waste the candidates' time so you can meet your weekly metrics. Overall, there were very off-putting vibes. I'm glad I got out earlier rather than later, although it's sad because I was really excited about the role at first. I'd say try the company if you want since some people seemed to have good experiences, but the base pay for the role is horrible so I'm not sure if it's worth risking.
