Pros

You either focus just on sales or just on recruiting. Some staffing firms make you do it all, but at Addison, you just have to do one or the other. This provides for a much better work-life balance! Also, they offer a lot of training to help you along the way and really seem to care about helping their employees succeed. They often say that they don't fire anyone who puts in the work. I really like the feeling of job stability that I have here.

Cons

They don't have quite the name recognition of some other staffing firms, so it can be a little harder to sell Addison Group than Robert Half, for example. But once a client sees the great customer service we provide and our excellent candidates, they quickly come to see that we are one of the best staffing firms out there! Because it can be harder to sell Addison Group, it takes longer to get temps out, so don't expect a super high bonus your first year. It will come, but it takes time.

Pros

Remote work was nice. Co workers were also friendly

Cons

Manager does not care about people's livelihoods, just her metrics. There is no room for growth or promotion unless you have been there for at least a full year (and also know someone in leadership). All promotions went to people who happened to be referred into the center by their relatives or former close colleagues. Management does not recruit or hire diversely because referrals are easier. Not much diversity on team, especially as seniors, leads, or management. Manager can be passive aggressive at times. Not much care for overall performance if bottom line metrics aren't hit (i.e. expected to meet metrics despite low workload or holiday closures, areas where someone performs well and in some cases quality doesn't matter as much as numbers of resumes processed). not much room for growth within the center (again, unless you have an in), and if you want to grow outside of the remote resume center you would have to make a lateral move or demotion to an in-person office as an admin assistant then recruiter. Growth was over-exaggerated in interview. Pay was okay, but definitely not enough to live on without dual income in a city. Recognition, incentives, and bonuses from execs in the company is reserved for those in producer/sales roles.
