Pros

You can make money quickly

Cons

This company has a "work hard, play hard" culture, however, that means that managers are allowed to date subordinates, alcohol is in every office (wine fridge and keg-orators, and there is a ton of sexual harassment. This company does not get rid of employees that harass or sexually harass others. It is frowned upon to go to HR and HR does not like to get involved. I have personally been harassed and sexually harassed by managers as well as witnessed this happening to other employees. This is not a safe environment for young women. Drugs are also passed around the office freely among employees. Do not work here.

Pros

In such a competitive field, it's nice to have a collaborative environment where your peers help each other win. Still being a privately held company, there's more flexibility to run your business and be able to take good care of our client employers and client candidates, rather than just "putting numbers up on the board!" This is an organization that prioritizes with people first, process second. Great office environment with all of the resources. Positive and fun culture. This is still a rapidly growing company with a lot of career growth opportunities and room for internal promotion across the country. The executive leadership team is always available and completely supportive, rather than sitting in their corporate office, demanding results and barking orders.

Cons

Being a 20 year old company, but only five years in Denver, we don't yet have the same brand recognition as in other cities. However, that is changing fast!!

Pros

Not a blankety - blank thing

Cons

I was terminated when the company I was assigned was bought by another company. They first told me they would mail me my effects, and then after about ten days told me I had to go back in and get them. This is a half-hour drive one way, besides being humiliating. I said it would be about three days till I could get them, and my recruiter says why do you have this attitude with me? I said I am not happy with the situation and I am burying my best friend this week, I can't. He says, oh sorry, I didn't know and I said two weeks I explained it all to you and you approved my time off. He just says well I can't be expected to remember everything. This is typical of their level of humanity as you will see in a moment. They screwed up my employment by putting in the wrong reason code (that I was still employed there for the moment) and when I nicely asked them to correct it so I could get paid Rheanna said she'd do it if and when she got around to it. Not an exaggeration. I lost my temper and said how would like it if someone told you you'd get paid whenever, and right at Christmas? She then put me down as terminated for performance which is 100% NOT true - but it further delayed my payments, over six weeks in total, while the UC needlessly took their valuable time and investigated. I won in the end of course but it was just a passive-aggressive childish revenge on their part because I dared to demand they do their jobs correctly.

We are very troubled by your review as this is the exact opposite of our values as a company. While we are sorry your unemployment took longer than you expected Addison Group responded to their requirements within the state given due date. If the unemployment office has additional questions regarding our response, we respond to those questions by the state given due date. If claimants have questions regarding the status and timeline of their unemployment claim, they should always reach out their state unemployment office. Addison Group would never withhold or delay payment to a current/past employee regardless of reason. We wish you the best in your future endeavors.
