Pros

- PTO - Learn about banking

Cons

-Strict Attendance policy that other senior departments or management does NOT have to follow - You cannot work here without a bank account with Addition. - Communication among the branches and the headquarters are non-existent and very last minute - Credit union policies are strict and do not benefit the members and it puts you in an uncomfortable position by providing bad customer service - Don't expect to grow here - They put you through consumer lending training but will not provide you your NMLS license - They open up positions specifically for their bilingual friends. - Your efforts are not valued here - Addition does not value employees loyalty , senior , eagerness to learn new skills - The way bonuses ( which is hardly once a year ) are distributed is so complicated that you will never know until you get paid .

Thank you for your feedback. Strict Attendance Policy: Yes, Addition Financial has a robust attendance policy to ensure we have the right number of team members daily to better serve our members. Consistency across departments and levels is always being reviewed and appreciate the feedback here. Bank Account Requirement: We implemented the requirement for having a bank account with Addition Financial ahead of testing our new digital banking platform. We are so mission-focused on having the best member experience possible that we wanted the entire team at Addition Financial to experience the new product and help test it so that there are no issues once our members begin using it. The requirement to have an account is only in place when there are new upgrades to test with our banking technology. Member Satisfaction: We have a team dedicated to reviewing member feedback and while our online reputation is positive (Google aggregate score of 4.9), we are committed to listening to our members to ensure our efforts align with providing excellent member service. Limited Growth Opportunities: We have career development programs such as job shadowing, progressive technical training based on career paths, and leadership development classes aimed at aspiring leaders. We welcome all team members to take the initiative with their career growth and to work with their managers. Sustained performance in current role and other factors lead to growth opportunities. Check in with our HR Team to learn more. Employee Loyalty and Skill Development: We appreciate your dedication and eagerness to learn. We're committed to fostering a culture that values loyalty and supports continuous skill development. Bonus Distribution: We hear your feedback on the bonus structure. We have created visibility though our CEO communicating the plan at the beginning of the year combined with our Chief Communications Officer sharing monthly updates to all team members. We have also made improvements this year by designing a team member-accessible dashboard for greater visibility that went live in first quarter.

Pros

-Every thursday morning is a credit union wide meeting which offers a line of communication between everybody, including executives. -Great coworkers -Good Benefits -Generally offer some kind of annual merit increase.

Cons

-Executives seem like they no longer care about the “little people” that work for them. When staff tries to communicate their concerns, executives are more worried about burying said concerns instead of addressing them. -Executives very much favor certain people whether theyre good employees or bad ones and will create new positions for them while also doing layoffs. -They will lay off or get rid of good employees that are actually personable and good at what they do and keep the bad ones that are toxic just because they suck up to the executives/become friends with the executives. -Growth within the company is not as good as it used to be, with opportunities to move up, but generally only if the executives/managers like you. -Definitely nobody gets paid enough in any role to handle the amount of responsibilities they are required to do for said role. -They’re becoming less and less loyal to the long time tenured employees who have been there 10 plus years. -Managers/Executives will generally NOT like you if you speak up for yourself and have a backbone against them/the politics of the company. -Harassed numerous employees to open accounts with them just so they could bolster their numbers under the guise of it being for something else, taking away the consumers choice of where to open a bank account. -the work of the good employees who actually do the bulk of the work to keep the branch/department running will go unrecognized almost 100% of the time. -Most managers and most executives do not practice what they preach to the staff, ever.

Thank you for your feedback. We apologize for your individual experience and encourage you to contact our HR team to discuss your concerns further. We are committed to addressing them promptly. At Addition Financial, we prioritize our team members' well-being and satisfaction through various initiatives: + Regular internal culture surveys and team feedback surveys for actionable improvements. + CEO-led listening tours across branches and departments to ensure issues are addressed. + Updated generous vacation policy based on employee feedback. + Additional paid day off on birthdays and robust education reimbursement. + Competitive benefits package and solid annual performance-based increases. + Internal podcast for clarity and alignment on company vision and actions. + Annual Family Fun Day and a company-wide Summit for team building and collaboration. Regarding the bank account requirement, it was implemented ahead of testing our new digital banking platform. Thanks for your review. Now is a fantastic time to be a team member at Addition Financial! There is exciting news coming about the compensation framework announced last year at the company-wide Summit 2024. We think our team members will like what they learn about what they earn at Addition Financial. Also, there is a new career framework that clearly outlines the kinds of roles and job families that a team member can use to plot their growth journey here. Stay tuned!
