Medical Assistant
Pros
Great pay" , good working location. A long lunch I enjoyed the limited interactions I was discouraged to develop with the providers
Cons
I am a clinical medical assistant and was only permitted to answer phones, make appointments and verify insurance . I am trained and experienced in direct patient care I did not have a positive experience- I did nit received adequate training to properly use telephone headset ,concurrently developed clogged Eustachian tube- and subsequently got Vertigo. As I was temping in a healthcare temping, a PA recommended I go home and seek care. Upon seeing a Dr, returned to work with a note. Three days later my agent, very pointedly by phone asked me "what's going on with you" and then was instructed to leav my job site. To date , I have not been re-assigned work , nor had my request to work with another agent been responded to. They are not helping people develop and improve the work force .
