Pay isn’t quite as high as some other tech companies

Too big, Adobe provides countless opportunities of hearing lip service about how they care about employees but then put too many obstacles in the way of all sorts of things but especially promotions and raises. Being acquired results in people who were hired by Adobe itself thinking less of you and Adobe is that way too in that they block advancement and raises and make it nearly impossible to move up even to a senior roll within your already established organization. Too many people just don't work full time and use clubs and other internal things as an excuse. An employee will have 5-10 hours a week of meeting invites for all sorts of things that aren't relevant to getting work done. Employees are extremely complacent and it's nearly impossible to get anyone to do anything because there are too many hoops to jump through or they're just not working. People managers are completely hindered in helping their employees get anything because of all the hoops to jump through so even if your direct manager is going to bat for you, they're going to be hamstrung as well. There are countless pages on the Inside Adobe about promotions, and check-ins, and salary, and all this stuff that they just don't actually do. It's total lip-service and a wall to hide behind.
