Great benefits and flexibility, less great senior management direction

Absolutely terrific benefits. Very generous telecommuting policy. Wonderful co-workers. Lots of international/global interactions. Dynamic work although I think that's because of the product I work on. Good stock purchase options (but not stock options for everyone). These outweigh the cons for me.

Cons

Management does not share the financial success with individual contributors. Senior management does not share its vision well and then it changes course without reason (or that reason is not communicated well). Seems like a bunch of silos with no clear direction. Political. No clear career path. November is layoff month at Adobe.

Pros

Adobe is among the leaders in analytics, testing and web content management. Generous package (compensation includes Adobe shares, health and other benefits). Great work environment (the Lehi building is brand new, and has tons of amenities). Very smart people!

Cons

Some managers have a tendency to micromanage (but that's the exception).

Slow career growth Insecure lower management Very little innovative work - its an incredibly innovative company but almost none of the innovation happens in India. Old products are sent here for maintenance.
