Pros

Very flexible, it's nice to have the option to work from home and remotely, Good work/life balance, everyone treats each other with fairness and respect.

Cons

Since the employee retention rate at adobe is very high, It's hard to come by new opportunities, even though they seem to try to promote it.

Great place to start a high tech career

Pros

It's great to work at a successful company, and Adobe has mastered the business it dominates in, namely creative professional software. You learn the ropes of the business from veterans, and you benefit from a playbook that's been working well for 20+ years. Strong culture of developing employees and a tightknit almost family atmosphere because of how long people have worked there.

Cons

As others have noted, because of the low turnover and strength of the employees, moving forward in your career can take a long, long time. I know one person I started with who got one bump up in level in eight years. They maintain a ratio for directors and above relative to individual contributors. Often easier to get a director title if you are recruited from outside the company.

Pros

Great compensation, smart people, awesome products. Adobe is known for its high quality products and it is a source of pride for all of us to be associated with "the best".

Cons

Bureaucracy and way too many processes. Adobe has too many people in the organization who do not contribute to the bottom line, and spend a lot of their working hours coming up with ways to slow down the rest of us. This is probably common at any company that is growing rapidly and trying to do so gracefully.
