Pros

- At company-level Adobe does encourage some great values, like care for employees and pride for products. - Seems to be on the right track for designing business, such as recent success of firefly AI generator. - Pay is decent.

Cons

*These disadvantages below only applies to a particular organization (DX, Digital Exp) based on my experience, and not towards Adobe. I had a terrible time in this team, so I would give the lowest possible rating, but I love Adobe as a company at the same time, that's why I'm giving 2 stars. - incompetent and prejudiced managements. There are just too many leadership roles in this org, and unfortunately lots of them are not qualified. Most of their time are spent on meetings and have no idea how to improve the business, but they are given too much power that they can decide the fate of team members based on personal preferences. - As a result of this bloated structure, culture in DX is suffocating for engineers. engineers have no chance to contribute on decision making, as following your leader is the only way out. So you can see bad designs everywhere, and engineers are numbed to them, as they cannot have any backbone. - Have to work slyly instead of smartly. Performance reviews are very subjective (manager / director as the only judge), so even if you have committed great work throughout the year, you might not see any rewards end of the year, if you don't please the leadership. Because of this, a lot of ornamental works are done which have little value from engineering perspective, but looking good on non-technical perspective. For example, refactor part of the code, where errored logics are not fixed, but just looking neat.
