Pros

A few years ago, when i first started the culture and vibe of the company was great. It degraded over time This place has a great a technical lead. The view is really incredible and the work space looks great. They don’t stress this in the job offer for nothing. The majority of the employees are really great people and fun to work with in spite of the fact that some of the great people have left

Cons

The bonuses and promotions are a joke, as the mechanism for achieving them changes every 6 to 12 months; the only constant factor in the equation is that the perks are assigned to you if your team lead likes you. The sport benefits are a joke compared with other companies. Quite a lot of sub-performant people were hired just to be fired 1-2 quarters later. A lot of bad behavior from the top men is permitted. I was shocked to see some colleagues even justify the bad behavior. The founders and men working at Adswizz from other countries have inappropriate behaviour at parties held in Bucharest, with the female employees. They even say: What happens in Bucharest stays in Bucharest. I have never seen such a lack of soft skills like the one my team lead had and still does. Leads who would always deliberately under-estimate the time it would take to deliver a project.

Pros

Salaries are slightly above market - but the additional pay doesn't make up for all the negative aspects

Cons

They fire people with no real reasons, colleagues just disappear without any explanation. Small start-up acquired recently by Pandora, has awful management who thinks employees are some kind of slaves. They swear and scream in meetings, they force teams to work outside of business hours. A great deal of nepotism plus some team leads are coupled - you need to make sure you don't upset them as they will get you fired. Performance evaluation is not based on performance, just on sympathies Micromanagement is at a very high level over here - do not expect autonomy of any kind The Job offer is a total lie - training budget is allocated only if the boss likes you; RSU's usually don't get allocated after the first year; there is no work from home policy They have no process that they follow - management is not trained at all and refuses to hear about best practices in the industry There is so much pressure here, the culture is awful and everyone is just covering their a.. Do not expect to have personal life outside work, work hours are 9 am until you can't keep your eyes open anymore. Business is in US

Pros

Good platform which I found easy to understand.

Cons

Being Italian I thought I could blend in with my colleagues very easily as I speak several languages. But my boss (both French) we're very unprofessional and I felt bullied when asking questions. Being new I needed their support but felt bad asking questions or even sending emails. Also there is so much micromanagement with emails constantly checked. I felt the HR department was really poor and are not on your side and take days to respond to any queries. The London office is also very dull and no audio was allowed despite being an audio specialist! Training is stressful with role play not done well and affects your confidence. I wouldn't recommend working here.
