They fire people with no real reasons, colleagues just disappear without any explanation. Small start-up acquired recently by Pandora, has awful management who thinks employees are some kind of slaves. They swear and scream in meetings, they force teams to work outside of business hours. A great deal of nepotism plus some team leads are coupled - you need to make sure you don't upset them as they will get you fired. Performance evaluation is not based on performance, just on sympathies Micromanagement is at a very high level over here - do not expect autonomy of any kind The Job offer is a total lie - training budget is allocated only if the boss likes you; RSU's usually don't get allocated after the first year; there is no work from home policy They have no process that they follow - management is not trained at all and refuses to hear about best practices in the industry There is so much pressure here, the culture is awful and everyone is just covering their a.. Being Italian I thought I could blend in with my colleagues very easily as I speak several languages. But my boss (both French) we're very unprofessional and I felt bullied when asking questions. Being new I needed their support but felt bad asking questions or even sending emails. Also there is so much micromanagement with emails constantly checked. I felt the HR department was really poor and are not on your side and take days to respond to any queries. The London office is also very dull and no audio was allowed despite being an audio specialist! Training is stressful with role play not done well and affects your confidence. I wouldn't recommend working here.
